Casey was surrendered to us in July of 2017 with Extasea and Presley after his owner passed away. The man’s family did not want to keep the horses, and with his advanced age, Casey was going to be euthanized. The family contacted us to see if we would be able to take the 3 horses.
WHERE HE IS NOW
Casey took some time to settle in and feel comfortable in his new environment but he is now happy and doing very well. His is on medication to regulate his Cushing's disease and he is feeling much better. He has integrated into the herd nicely and no longer panics when separated from Presley and Extasea. He is a friendly face at the barn and is always willing to accept a pet or a treat. He is enjoying his well-deserved retirement. Casey now has a partial sponsor! Thank you Pam for contributing to Casey's care. IN MEMORIAM 4/9/2019
On the morning of April 9th, 2019, Casey was laid to rest. Those of us that have animals in our lives; our greatest wish is to have them for as long as possible. We are saddened by your passing, but will forever remember how much you brightened up our lives and provided so much love at APPER. We will all miss your kisses and unconditional love.
