The Adventures of Dusty &Twilight
It's Springtime, Dusty and Twilight are full of fun, energy and life!
But it wasn't always this way for them...
Dusty and Twilight faced neglect and starvation together -- a lonely existence without the human companionship that horses depend on when they live on a farm or ranch.
At the time they were seized by authorities, they could not lift their heads up; their ribs protruded at their sides, they walked slowly and with hesitation. Some expert opinions were that they would not survive another winter.
After only a few weeks at A Pony's Paradise Equine Rescue, the two thoroughbreds were responding positively to the nutrition and care, the fellowship of other horses and the love and attention of their new human caregivers.
Dusty and Twilight began not only to thrive, but flourish!
Now that Spring has arrived Melissa and Jessica will be able to see how they respond to training and riding. Their strength will continue to build over the warming weeks--and they will be adoption-ready!
After conditioning and training, they will be ready to be welcomed to a compassionate, horse-loving home. Keep checking our website and social media sites to follow their progress.
