Nasir is a 14.2 hand, 9-year-old Arabian gelding.
Nasir was rescued from Cranbury sales in June of 2015. Before going to auction, Nasir was a teaser pony. He was gelded in quarantine after his rescue. He had had very little handling and was very nervous about everything, from going outside, to picking up his feet. Noises and moving things made him panic. He was a few hundred pounds underweight.
WHERE HE IS NOW
Nasir has calmed down considerably since he arrived. He loves attention and will stand happily to be groomed or have his feet done. He will lead calmly past new objects. He has filled in nicely and has a lovely bright color, and he loves the camera! He has assimilated very well to living in a large group of horses. He has started training and has learned how to wear a blanket and tack. Though he still worries about new things, but he is making progress.
