Oscar is a 15.3 hand, 24-year-old Thoroughbred gelding.
Oscar came to us after his owner of many years passed away. The man’s family did not want the responsibility of taking care of or selling Oscar. In the time it took them to contact us to take him, he had lost weight and his feet and teeth needed care. When Oscar came to us he was grieving for his lost owner, and very anxious and worried.
WHERE HE IS NOW
Oscar is a wonderful lesson horse. He will take care of a beginner or jump a small course for a more advanced rider. His previous owner took him on fox hunts, but we think Oscar will benefit from a more relaxing life. He is very quiet on trails or in the ring.
Oscar has found a foster home! He is joining a lesson program where he will be gently used for lessons. We are sure he will enjoy the love and attention of children. His adoption status is on hold.
